Position: Translator, Editor, proofreader

My name is Ali Moh’d Al Sabool and I am very interested in applying for Translator position.  Having spent  thirty five years gaining translation, editing, proofreading, leadership and managerial experiences in almost all field of translation, particularity economy, finance, banking. Military, IT and legal translation in addition to and management experience in various international environments, this role would offer me exactly the challenge I am seeking at this point in my career. 

I possess a wealth of translation, editing and proofreading experience in almost all field of translation, mainly gained through working with both government and commercial organizations at international, regional and national levels in Jordan and UAE.  I am able to cope comfortably with large, high profile documents and equally competent handling technical documents also.  My main strength is the ability to edit, proofread and translate documents into Arabic or English whilst maintaining accuracy and also using my initiative to convey clarity of meaning for the reader in either language.  This ensures that the essence and style of documents are preserved during translation, which enhances effective communication between all parties, both orally and through written documents.

I believe I have a set of skills particularly well suited to this role and I very much hope to have the opportunity to interview for the position.  I possess not only, the precise academic qualifications you require, but also a significant experience as a translator and manager in a translating environment.  It goes without saying that I am highly competent in those computer applications most relevant to translating and especially Microsoft Office.
