My name is Amer Ghozlan; a 28-year-old Jordanian citizen that holds a bachelor’s degree in Managerial Accounting from Arab Open University and Diploma of Architecture from Al Balqaa Applied University. I hold the Project Management for Development Professionals certificate (PMD Pro) from PM4NGOs. In this letter, I would like to pinpoint the experience, vision, and motivation behind my application for this role. I have worked as an assistant coordinator of the youth program for two years at National Democratic Institute (NDI). During this program, I have formulated a clear understanding of democracy, and an experience in delivering workshops for the youth intended to leverage the attendees to conduct advocacy
campaigns towards reform.

I also worked as an assistant researcher and program coordinator for the Jordanian Parliament Monitor program at the Al-Quds center for political studies. Through this program, I conducted daily reports and memos for any parliamentary action. Moreover, several focus groups with decision-makers were conducted for legal advocacy purposes. During this work, I framed a concrete perception of the legal framework of public political participation and human rights status in Jordan. It is noteworthy to mention the integration with a massive number of youth was during “Ana Usharek".

I was enrolled in this program during my work at Crown Prince Foundation as a program coordinator. In the Arab world, youth and adolescents represent the highest percentage of the population. Corruption, poor infrastructure, lack of democracy
