Senior Logistics Officer at ACTED.  Amman - Jordan (5/2021 - Present) Functional tasks:  Management and Technical Support Direct linemanagement of Amman-based Logistics Assistants and officers in ACTED’s Regional Office.  Support the professional development of direct reports through regular (at least monthly) objective setting in one-to-one meetings, identifying relevant on-the-job and external training opportunities, and performance appraisal in-line with ACTED’s HR Manual.  Prepare recruitment requests, TORs, and tests, and conduct interviews, in coordination with the Country Logistics Manager and HR Department.  Advise other departments on procurement activities, in-line with ACTED’s Logistics Manual and category- and Area-specific SOPs.  Framework Agreements, complex procurement and Supplier Management: In collaboration with the HR Department, Heads of Department, and Country Logistics Manager, prepare Tender documents for commonly used goods and services to establish Framework Agreements (FWA) National Tender (Scenario D) at least two months before contract end-date.  Design procurement strategy at base level, anticipate regular expenses, propose ad-hoc plan to CLM.  Ensure 100% of FWA documentation is correctly filed in hard-copy and electronic-copy.  Follow-Up on supplier management issues, including late delivery, late payment, and quality assurance concerns within one day of identification.  Lead on complex procurement for WoS such as, but not limited to MTA, audit services, IT Software’s and solutions.  Review Order Forms for procurement in Amman.  Collecting quotations from suppliers, ensuring likefor-like specifications for comparison and organizing quality checks with the requestor.  Maintaining the Supplier Database (PRO-03.1) for Amman, identifying new sources for common commodities.  Preparing purchase documents (PMs/POs/Contracts) for purchases for review by the procurement committee, typically not more than $10,000.00 per contract.  Follow-up open procurement with the requestor, including ACTED Yemen and REACH teams.  Ensure 100% of procurement documentation is correctly filed in hard-copy and elec 3/8 registered on the Order Form Follow-Up (OFFU).  On occasion the Logistics Officer (Amman) may be requested to provide procurement support to other Areas of ACTED Syria.  Logistics Officer at Mercy Corps.  Amman - Jordan (12/2017 - 4/2021) Functional tasks:  Assets manager for three hubs in Syria and Amman office.  Responsible for logging all new mercy corps assets in Amman and ensuring the appropriate coding and tags are placed on each item.  Responsible for coordinating between Finance and procurement office in identifying all details of all assets such as buying price, Ledger reference, PR, PO, and GRN number.  Responsible to maintain the stock of MC assets that are not checked out and in use.  Review asset movement form regularly.  Review assets register book.  Conduct quarterly Physical asset reconciliation with Finance.  Maintain inventories of all mercy corps premises.  Assist and coordinate project staff on inventory issues. Assist in providing end of project reports.  Staff management in guiding them in MC policies and instructions.  Responsible for reporting on all assets which are broken, damaged, loss, stolen or sold.  Update the electronics database monthly for MC Syria program including North west Syria field.  Provides physical count/check where all assets on different locations, projects and sites.  Responsible for checking in and out MC owned equipment to authorized staff using standard MC procedure.  Conduct training for all staff in assets management.  Procurement support and supporting on collecting quotations.  Has a clear understanding of Mercy Corps management manual and all procedure.  Review Log sheets every month and submit to finance  Coordinate with Administration manager on pickups and drop offs.  Responsible on vehicles rental.  Conducts Driving tests for expats.  Vehicle checklist checkups and following up parking.  Area Logistics Officer at ACTED.  Mafraq - Jordan (6/2017 - 12/2017) Functional tasks:  Procurement Planning and Supply chain management.  Responsible for project procurement planning and delivery, based on ACTED’s guidelines.  Follow-up procurement & supplies with logistic area team and main office in Amman.  Reinforce current procedures and the quality of ACTED internal control, based on ACTED standards and best practices.  Accountable for overall compliance with the procurement procedures; Set up systems, implement documents and procedures & develop forms when nec 4/8.  Responsible for ensuring that that stock movement (IN & OUT) processes are respected; all commodities and goods are well organized in the stock by project/program; all commodities and goods have stock cards.  Responsible for overall compliance with the stock management procedure.  Responsible for ensuring a regular update of the stock management database and it’s accuracy.  Supervision and management of the warehouse team.  Overall delivery management for ACTED freight.  Ensure the safety and effective use of all ACTED assets and property.  Ensure the asset database is up to date and accurate; all data on ACTED assets is regularly backed up, as per base procedures and properly identified; asset is given to users, after completion of “Asset Reception Form”.  Support HR and Administration in ensuring that property and premises are well maintained and adhere to ACTED standards.  Ensure proper utilization, maintenance and follow up of the ACTED fleet, as per ACTED procedures.  Control and manage the cost of the fleet (fuel, maintenance and repairs).  Provide monthly reports and analysis to Capital Office and Area Coordination.  Telecommunication and Information Technology Support.  Report to country office needs and requirements of the base.  Responsible for complying with all the reporting requirements within the various sub departments to the area coordination and country management teams; including but not limited to the monthly stock report.  Area Logistics Assistant at ACTED.  Mafraq - Jordan (5/2016 - 5/2017) Functional tasks:  Responsible for project procurement planning.  Reinforce current procedures and the quality internal control, Ensure information flow with other departments for effective service delivery.  Successful conclusion of the programs.  Weekly update and circulation of the Order Request Follow up, Contract Follow up (CFU).  Accountable for overall compliance with the procurement procedures.  Responsible for ensuring that that stock movement (IN & OUT) processes are respected.  Delivery (Transport) Management.  Assets and Property Management (including premises).  Control and manage the cost of the fleet (fuel, maintenance and repairs).  Ensure a monthly roster is prepared for all fleet staff and monitor overtime.  Vehicle request and allocation standard operating procedures (SOPs).  Vehicle use and safety procedures (first aid, spares etc).  Supervision of fleet team.  Admin Assistant at ACTED.  Amman - Jordan (7/2015 - 5/2016) Functional tasks:  HR Assistant - Screens telephone calls, schedules interviews and conducts Internet research to locate potential job candidates.  Managing calendars, making travel, meeting and event arrangements, preparing reports and financial data.  Training and supervising other support staff and customer relations.  IT support at world vision.  Amman - Jordan (7/2015 - 7/2015)  Communication Engineer at Loreana AV.  Amman - Jordan (6/2015 - 7/2015)  Event Coordinator at Events Consultant.  Amman - Jordan (3/2015 - 6/2015)  Team leader at AIESEC.  Irbid - Jordan (2/2011 - 2/2013)
