Ghazi Abu Rumman

I am a seasoned consultant with a proven track record of success in both the public and private sectors, joined Rum Insurance in November 2022 as a Board Consultant, tasked with spearheading the company's business development efforts and streamlining its insurance processes. Prior to joining Rum Insurance, I served as the Country Manager of Snowball for Technology Co. Ltd., where I led the company's operations and oversaw its expansion efforts until August 31st, 2022.

Previously, I had the honor in holding a senior project management position at the King Abdullah II Design & Development Bureau (KADDB) from January 2013 to October 2021, where I played a pivotal role in several successful projects. I also founded the National Natural Resources Co. Ltd (NNRC) that leveraged my passion for utilizing Jordan's natural resources to establish a thriving mining business that supplies Basalt, Celica Sand, and Pure Lime Stone to local cement factories.

Prior to founding NNRC, I served as the Business Development Manager at the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan, where I played a key role in fostering economic growth and promoting trade relations between Jordan and the United States. I also worked as a Freelancer National Expert, Researcher, and Trainer for the United Nations for Industrial Development (UNIDO), where I earned the first certificate awarded in Jordan to train SME Managers to adopt the concept of SME Export Consortium.

My educational background includes a B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science from Princess Sumaya University for Technology and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of New York, which I earned in 2004. I began my career at the Jordan Investment Board (JIB) as an Investment Promotion Officer, where I contributed to the establishment of multiple SMEs by foreign investors. My responsibilities included developing and implementing country-specific marketing activities in sectors where foreign investors had a competitive advantage in the local market, formulating business plans, sector promotion strategies, and marketing campaigns aimed at increasing FDI flows.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated expertise in business planning, management, strategic planning, budget allocation, policy formulation, operations coordination, staff management and motivation, cost management, customer service, administration process improvement, vendor engagement, employee hiring and training, and identifying business opportunities.

Mr. Ghazi Abu-Rumman is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in business development and marketing. Currently, he serves as a Board Consultant for Business Development and Marketing at the Arab Union International Insurance Co. Prior to this, he held the position of Business Development Consultant at Snowball for Technologies Co. and served as a senior project manager for several projects at King Abdullah II Design & Development Bureau (KADDB) from January 2013 till October 2021. Before his consultation career, Mr. Abu-Rumman established National Natural Resources Co. The company is still running and sells to the local market, including Cement Factories. Mr. Abu-Rumman holds the first certificate in Jordan to train SME Managers to adopt the concept of SME Export Consortium, which he earned from the UN International Training Centre in Italy on June 2007. He completed his B.Sc. Degree and worked as an Investment Promotion Officer at Jordan Investment Board (JIB), where he contributed to multiple SMEs established by foreign investors. He developed and implemented country-specific marketing activities in sectors where they had a competitive advantage to the local market, developed business plans, sector promotion strategies, and marketing campaigns aimed at increasing FDI flows. He also holds an MBA from the University of New York, which he received in 2004.
