Our graduation project focused on improving elevator control systems by addressing two main issues. Firstly, we tackled the problem of an open loop machine drive's incompatibility with a closed loop control system. Secondly, we developed a solution for power outages by implementing a laser sensor that accurately measured the distance of the elevator car. This allowed for precise calculations of speed and travel distance to reach the desired floor. Our successful prototype demonstration showcased the effectiveness of our innovative solution.
