My 25-year career in the pharmaceutical sector has been a continuous voyage of growth and exploration, seamlessly weaving together diverse facets of the industry. It began in the lab, where I honed my skills as a research and development pharmacist specializing in cosmeceuticals formulation. Eager to delve deeper, I tackled production management, gaining firsthand experience in bringing formulations to life. Seeking further knowledge, I embarked on a Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences, which naturally propelled me into quality systems management. This proved to be a turning point, leading me to become a QA supervisor and later, an ISO 9001 certified third-party inspector, meticulously upholding quality standards.

Fueled by an innate passion for technology, I began developing tailored mini-ERP systems, using my database and software expertise to streamline various pharmaceutical operations. To bridge the gap between theory and practice, I embraced academia, taking on the role of a lecturer in pharmaceutical sciences. This dual exposure further enriched my perspective.

The culmination of my journey arrived during my PhD, where I investigated the FDA Adverse Events Reporting System (FAERS) using SQL server coding and advanced R-based machine learning algorithms to predict drug adverse events. This experience cemented my expertise and solidified my unwavering commitment to excellence. Now, with all requirements for my PhD fulfilled, I eagerly await my thesis defence (Viva Voce) within a few months.
