Most recently, I served as Head of Finance and Operations for a regional humanitarian organization based in Amman, with oversight of financial systems supporting programs in Syria. In this role, I developed and managed multimillion-dollar budgets, led regional audits, strengthened internal controls, and optimized financial reporting processes in line with international standards. My leadership contributed to stronger cost control, greater transparency, and improved donor confidence. Prior to this, I held progressively senior roles at the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), where I oversaw financial operations across Jordan, Iraq, Syria, and other parts of the region. These experiences equipped me with deep expertise in budgeting, ERP systems, procurement, logistics, banking relations, and compliance — all within fast-paced, highly regulated environments.
