Professional Experience
April 2022-September 2022 Save the children- Zaatari Camp 
Math teacher at AHP program responsible for teaching Math for children 11 – 17 years who 
are out of school and enrolled in the center at the morning and afternoon shifts.
Responsibilities: 
• Responsible for different groups of 20 children in a literacy and Numeracy 
classes for – running 5 day a week in 2 shifts, one in the morning and one shift 
afternoon.
• Responsible for initiating play, game and educational activities for groups of 
children.
• Conduct Save the Children diagnostic and evaluation test for children.
• Prepare quarterly and daily plans.
• Maintain children’s portfolios and follow up children progress and works.
• Report weekly verbal and in writing on the progress of the running of the group.
• Secure that the activities are in accordance with the curriculum developed and 
introduced by Save the Children education specialist.
• Ensure a safe and child-friendly atmosphere within the group and in the canter.
• Ensure effective co-operation with other teachers and volunteers in the center.
• Use different learning strategies.
• Be a positive role model and demonstrate conflict-solving behaviors.
• Ensure that all games and equipment are accounted for and stored securely at 
the end of the day.
• Address or refer protection issues in the group to the Case Manager.
• Ensure continuous career development, teaching methodology updates.
• Any other tasks required to ensure all the objectives are met.
