    • Job Description We are seeking a Sustainability Procurement Manager to join our Global Sourcing Center of Excellence team. Location: home-based in EMEACandidates must be legally authorized to work in the given country without employer sponsorship. As the Sustainability Procurement Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our Sustainable Procurement roadmap, policies, and actions. Your key responsibilities include integrating considerations for the environment, human rights, health and safety, and relevant regulations into all procurement processes. Additionally, you'll spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing innovative programs and tools to report, calculate, and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) such as carbon emissions. Duties & Responsibilities Key Highlights: · Shape and deploy Global Procurement Sustainability Strategies. · Lead a dynamic team ensuring proactive compliance with laws and company policies. · Be the face of Global Procurement within Solenis' cross-functional Sustainability Task Force. · Collaborate with internal and external partners to implement impactful supply chain sustainability programs and activities. · Lead CO2 reporting and Scope 3 calculations. · Champion Global Procurement in sustainability audits and certifications (Ecovadis, S&P...). · Benchmark with leading sustainable procurement organizations to identify and seize improvement opportunities. The Individual · Hold a bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related fields, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. · A chemical degree is advantageous. · Min. 7 to 10 years of diverse working experience in international companies in Project Management and Procurement roles. · Demonstrate experience in team and people management. · Showcase a strong background in sustainability. · Possess extensive knowledge of procurement processes and procedures. · Fluent in oral and written English. · Capable of effectively managing multiple projects concurrently. · Skilled at thriving in a team environment with diverse cultures. · Understand global sustainability initiatives, including but not limited to UN Sustainable Development Goals, Science Based Targets, CDP, CSRD, etc. · Exhibit advanced and demonstrated change management skills, with a keenness for ongoing learning and development. · Be an advanced user of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and possess technological acumen for source-to-pay tools. · Proficient in reporting tools such as PowerBi or Tableau. · Demonstrate innovation and problem-solving abilities. · Excel in business partnering and stakeholder relationship management. · Stay abreast of regulatory updates and benchmark against leading sustainable organizations.
