      Job Description
    • Under the overall guidance of the Programme Coordinator and the direct supervision of the Health Policy Programme Specialist
    • , the RHCS Programme Analyst will work within the Jordan Country Office environment, to support together with the Health Policy Specialist the national counterparts to scale up an integrated family planning, and
    • reproductive health commodity security Programme with a view to increase demand for, and access to and utilization of reliable RH services including commodities.

      RHCS Analyst will be responsible for forecasting procurement planning, ensuring "end-to-end" visibility and effective distribution of UNFPA donated commodities, and identifying and implementing corrective actions from the Last Mile Assurance (LMA) process.

      You Would Be Responsible For
    • Contribute with the Health Policy Specialist in supporting the national efforts to scale up the voluntary Family Planning programme with regards to demand creation and service delivery in line with the UNFPA Family Planning Strategy;
    • Provide evidence together with the Health Policy Specialist to the Country Representative to support the advocacy for integrating the RHCS as part of the national system;
    • Collaborate with the programme team to implement integrated approaches to improve quality of sexual reproductive health that includes right based family planning;
    • Work with the operations team to ensure timely procurement and continuity of the SRH supplies to all programme sites including the humanitarian,
    • With the support of the Programme Specialist, collaborate with other UN Agencies and development partners to promote and provide integrated support to the national FP/RHCS programmme (particularly with WHO, UNICEF, and USAID)
    • Provide technical support in contraceptive technology (especially long acting methods) and logistics planning and management (quantification, warehousing, transportations, stock availability, etc.;
    • Support national partners in setting up an effective logistics management for SRH commodities in compliance with national and international standards;Provide technical support to MOH and implementing partner and ensure compliance with the last mile assurance (LMA)
    • Ensure the integration of FP/RHCS activities into UNFPA Country Office work plans and the implementation and monitoring of these activities ;
    • Contribute to monitoring and analysis of project implementation, including preparing programme and financial reports on the RHCS and FP Plans;
    • Undertake other tasks as may be requested by the direct supervisor or programme coordinator.

    • Education

      Qualifications and Experience:

      Advanced university degree or equivalent in public health, medicine, pharmacy, logistics management, social sciences or other related field.

      Knowledge And Experience
    • previous professional experience in planning, implementing, monitoring Sexual and Reproductive Health Programme, preferably in FP and RHCS
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills
    • Humanitarian experience is an asset.

    • Languages

      Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic
