Responsibilities include:

• Maintain accurate promise dates in ERP reflective of latest supplier commitments.
• Expedite purchase orders needed to fulfill work orders.
• Work with various departments to coordinate and expedite receiving inspection, kitting, and outside operations.
• Coordinate with production and procurement teams to set priorities regarding orders placed, pending, or in transit.
• Ensure system is updated with current promise dates and production status planning tool(s) are maintained to ensure visibility throughout the organization.
• Perform stock checks as requested from planning and engineering teams
• Work with the planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure MRP/ERP data remains clean and accurate
• Assist with resolution of incorrect system data
• Problem solve in determining work around options for issues that may delay production as required
• Work with outside vendors to create/establish production and delivery schedules that align with the production schedule
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job requirements:

Minimum educational and work experience requirements for the successful candidate will include the following

• Associates degree in business or related field and a minimum 7 years' experience in highly regulated industry
  or
• Bachelors degree in business or related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience in highly regulated industry. ASCM CPIM or CSCP training and/or certification a plus
• Government/DOD related sub-contract program management (FAR/DFAR compliance) a plus
• Experience in an Aerospace environment a plus
• Strong basic math skills. Good with numbers.
• Demonstrate understanding of methods of manufacturing, operations/planning/logistics, quality and terms and conditions
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems to include hands on understanding of demand and supply
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience negotiating pricing and lead time
• Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and co-workers in a pressured environment
• Ability to create and improve processes
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
• Travel (10%)
