\- Advises and provides support to the Director in planning, developing, analysing, communication, enhancing understanding of and overseeing strategic security management concepts, policies, guidelines, and compliance;

\- Acts as a Deputy Director of the SRMD and therefore is appointed as Officer in Charge (OIC) during the Directors absence;

\- Leads the development and prescriptive content, facilitating the development and maintenance of the SRMD SharePoint and security practice network;

\- Liaises, consults, facilitates, and maintains ongoing relationships with UNRWA programmes ensuring security integration into programmatic activities; liaises with UN bodies on policy and governance;
