    Hourly: $20.00

    Shift: 6am - 2:30pm

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to work in a fast-paced correctional facility environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medication to inmates, maintaining accurate drug records, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure the safe and effective use of medication.

    Responsibilities:
    • Dispense medication to inmates as prescribed by healthcare providers
    • Maintain accurate records of medication distribution and inventory
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve any medication-related issues
    • Prepare and maintain medication orders, including the preparation of intravenous medications
    • Ensure that all medications are stored and handled in a secure and controlled manner
    • Follow all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to the dispensing of medication

    Requirements:
    • Current Pharmacy Technician certification
    • At least 1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
    • Knowledge of pharmacology and medication administration
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Proven experience as a registered nurse. No New Grads Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures. A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsible and compassionate. Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills. Patient with excellent problem-solving skills. A valid nursing license.
