Freelance Game Tester (German native)

Position responsibilities:

• Execute test plans and test cases, suggest improvements
• Identify and document any functional or linguistic issues and verify fixes
• Use test tools and automation as required
• Apply knowledge of user preferences in Target Market to influence the client's product
• Collaborate with partner teams in testing the product
• Proactively look for gaps in test coverage
• Perform basic configuration and setup tasks on PC, game consoles or mobile phones
• Offer constructive feedback on gameplay, fun factor and game balance based on knowledge of target market
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Essential skills and experience required:

• Native proficiency in the target language (German)
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• The ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• The drive, positive attitude and ability to thrive and deliver in a fast-paced, innovative and creative environment
• A passion for gaming
• Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent, or directly relevant experience
• Minimum of 1 year of game testing experience

Desired skills and experience:

• Experience with Security testing/fuzzing tools
• Experience with Performance/Stress testing tools and methodologies
• Experience with Accessibility testing
• Experience with Certification Testing and/or Lot Checks
• Experience with testing tools like Fiddler, Netmon, etc.
• Experience with bug tracking systems like ADO, JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
