Accountabilities & Key Roles :- Establish the roadmap and vision for the Payments API products in coordination with the relevant business stakeholders and technical teams, taking into account regional legislation and market demands.
- Manage and prioritize Payments API products for Open Banking, PaaS, Cross-Border payments, domestic payments, and e-commerce payments.
- Own the product roadmap and working with the technical and engineering team to prioritize initiatives, carefully and pragmatically balancing the needs of product, support and platform initiatives.
- carry out and documenting the necessary analyses to develop new product backlog items or feature briefs in reaction to changes in the market or regulations.
- Monitor and Tracking the performance of APIs, which involves metrics such as; calculating statistics on user engagement, satisfaction, and consumption.
- Support product launches and deployments to make sure that all risks and potential business implications are actively addressed prior to go-live.
- Act as a subject matter expert for other Payments products and services under governance, by ensuring full technical understanding of the products including transformation, processes, systems and regulations.
- Job Requirements: Education:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or any related field.
- Certification : PMP, Agile, Product Management is a plus.
- Experience:
- +10 years of experience in a relevant business field in a leading bank or Fintech.
- Competencies
- Knowledge of API product management and/or experience in the fintech industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of open banking, payment as a service (PaaS), foreign exchange, domestic & international payments and e-commerce payments and gateways.
- Experience working on the edge of business & technology and creating leading edge products & solutions.
- Proven interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities to interact effectively with cross-cultural teams around the world.
- A track record of success in forging business ties inside and outside of a complex, matrixed organization.
- Product Management discipline experience of a business or consumer facing application or technology service.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, able to communicate requirements in a variety of formats as appropriate (e.g. customer journey creation, wireframes, sequence diagrams, process maps).
