• To follow inpatients in Azraq camp hospital (including COVID-19 cases) and set the plan of treatment for the GPs to follow.
• Monitoring patients' conditions and progress, and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary.
• To assess and treat referred patients by reviewing and understanding their medical backgrounds and examining them to assess their current condition and health.
• Request, perform, interpret, and analyze Lab tests (rationally) to diagnose patients' conditions. Perform a patient physical examination. Analyze test data or images to inform diagnosis or treatment.
• Assess and examine patients to establish if a surgical procedure needed, and prioritize procedures capacity inside the camp vs referrals to outside the camp.
• Council patients and their families about disease, prognosis and manage expectations.
• refer patients to other medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary
• Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary.
• provide ongoing support and advice to patients under long-term care
• work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating and liaising closely with colleagues including referral doctor, ER doctors, GPs and surgeons.
