• Key Responsibilities Include:
  
• Critically assess stakeholders' requests to develop the best solutionLead the design and implementation of complex BI solutions.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior BI engineers.
• Conduct performance tuning of BI queries and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define BI requirements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in BI technologies.

• Basic Qualifications
  
• Degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science
• Extensive experience with multiple python libraries
• Experience creating, deploying and maintaining machine learning models
• Experience with AWS technologies including: S3, Lambda, SageMaker, Redshift and IAM roles and permissions.
• Experience building complex SQL queries with large scale datasets
• Experience building products on data visualisation tools - QuickSight, PowerBI, Tableau
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
• Understanding of statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared).
  
• Preferred Qualifications
  
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
• Technical Program Management / Product Management
• Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift. Knowledge of AWS services and Data Engineering basics.
• Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
• Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
• Experience in designing and delivering cross functional custom reporting solutions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload.
• A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
• Proven track record of ability to influence business partners to balance the need to deliver fast and build scalable solutions.
