Clustery Ideas

Clustery Ideas

My exchange of comments and her temptation for me to write lyrics Fay Vietmeier this post emerged. We started writing a poem on draft ideas that we keep in a folder. While trying to write my first-steps lyrics the idea of this post emerged.

I asked myself what would happen to ideas that have been kept in the folder for long times. Would they become decaying ideas, mature ideas, moldy ideas, pearly ideas or what? The folder is crowded with ideas and there is no room to put more ideas.

I decided to open the folder. To my surprise that ideas have self-organized into clusters. They even had a motto or a description of what their names mean. Here is what I found.

The big title was: Clustery Ideas

The daughter clusters have the following names and descriptions. Each cluster started with we are.

Silky ideas- comb when wet, brush when dry

Jelly ideas- Burning for more ideas- we sooth them

Sticky ideas- sticky when cooked

Dirty ideas- I got more under my dress

Branchy ideas-Β we are tooΒ branchy. We need to be pruned so we would have a few strong shoots instead of many weak ones.

Thorny ideas- we are candidates for patents.

Fluffy ideas- your fluffy frothy whipped coffee of ideas

Spongy ideas- we absorb different ideas

Snuggly ideas- we entertain your heart and mind

Jelly ideas- we have no form yet

Lucky ideas- we were picked randomly

Rusty Ideas- long-forgotten ideas

Spicy ideas- hot ideas to make you hungry for us

Dummy ideas- we look like real ideas, but we aren’t

Airy ideas- we hate seriousness

Blabby ideas- think as an unwise

Blebby ideas- glassy ideas marred by small bubbles

Pearly ideas- we have our luster

Dear reader- what ideas fill your folder?

I dedicate this post to my poetry mentor .Β  I wonder to which cluster I belong if I still attempt to write poetry.

#Fay Vietmeier I think much faster than I type. This results in leaving out words as is the case with my comment. Dear- I meant surely that I am more unable to keep up with you for you inspired me with ideas for my posts AND now with thriving in writing few lyrics. This is a new world for me. I hope my answer is clear this time my friend.

I meant by using in my previous comment.

#39
Fay Vietmeier You planted the seeds in my soil. Thanks are due to you. But it amazes me how you connect ideas from different people in a timely manner. You are drawing the cobweb of ideas, Oh, where would I place this? By suing cobweb it goes to the folder of Silky Ideas.

I love the Haiku poetry form because of the challenge to put thoughts in a 5/7/5, 3/5/3, or 2/3/2 syllable structure. And I remember when we used to contribute them on LinkedIn. renewed mindsets our contribution of brave hearts triumphs in healing Haiku published March 31, 2020-Franci Eugenia Hoffman-https://amanpan.blog/2020/03/31/empowering-courage/

It is the feedback effect- a sound comment generates a challenging comment and so it goes like this, as Jerry Fletcher says.

Will do

Here is an idea that has been burning in my mind lately: can a philosophical school of thought, say Stoicism, be expressed in a scientific manner (e.g. through psychology or math)? That's the topic my latest article delves into. Feel free to check it out!

#6
Lovely song indeed Burning fire and burning desire- good idea to think about

#5
That's what I'm talking about! Looking forward to reading your article. On a more poetic note, here are some lyrics from a song by Rush called "Mission": Hold your fire keep it burning bright Hold the flame 'til the dream ignites A spirit with a vision is a dream with a mission... Full song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLgkJ5Gtwos

It is funny that you mention burning ideas- ideas that you burn till ideas manifest themselves. Right now I am drafting a post on "Nutrients of Organizations". This idea has been burning in my head for a while. Only this morning it manifested itself in a way that I may communicate to the readers. I use the nutrients of plants and their complexities the metaphor for understanding the complexity of organizations and the emerging feedback loops .

For me there is only one kind of ideas worth delving into: burning ideas - ideas that burn you until they find a way to manifest themselves, with or without you. Cheers!
