Abdulsalam Amoush

I believe my passion and extensive experiences will make me a strong candidate to join your team. I am currently working as Country Representative and Program Director for Jordan with SAMS, before it, I worked as Regional Program Manager for the Middle East (Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and West Bank) for The Johanniter International Assistance, I worked in multi-sectoral positions in multi-countries in the region in organization lead management and Program lead positions. I have always been working in Sustainable Development, Humanitarian Response, and early recovery with a high focus on organizational management and development, strategic development, program management, coordination, MEAL planning, and strong relations with stakeholders (Governmental and Non-Governmental). And had worked towards this throughout my academic achievements and training. Initially, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in nursing at Zarqa University, Jordan. I sought to increase my knowledge and thereafter, completed a high diploma in “Quality management in the health sector” from the University of Jordan. Following on from this, I completed the “NGO management and voluntary work management” professional diploma from German Jordanian University. In addition to the number of courses and training related to my interests. My general duties involve overseeing and leading organizations including; strategic planning and program development, organization oversight, accountability, and compliance management, personnel management, external representative, program departments, and Partnership Management, overseeing all project progress, and proposal development in Livelihood, Health, Education, Food Security, and Social Protection, Strategic Planning, Leading Program Planning, Monitoring, and concurrent Evaluation developing plans and frameworks, be a part of the senior management teams, organization representation, and liaison with the various stakeholders (INGOs, Donors, Gov, and Non-Gov), lead program quality management, Support Finance, and Compliance Management, and active advocacy member. On worked hard to enhance my experiences in multi-sectoral include Livelihood, Health, Social Protection, Education, and WASH, to step forward on my career path. I also worked in different crises, such as the Syrian crisis, Palestinian, Iraqi, and Lebanese crises, working in different stages of the emergency, early recovery, and development situations. In my freelance experience, I completed several external projects evaluation for several international organizations. Besides my career path, I started several initiatives to support vulnerable groups in Jordan to provide them with the basic needs to survive, under the umbrella of the Douja Foundation. I’m also part of the international project for Picturing Climate change crossing four countries (Cuba, Bosnia, Jordan, and the UK) this project focus on documenting climate change by story-telling and picturing supported by The Open University- UK. In addition to leading numbers of voluntary work in Jordan supporting local communities and refugees through social cohesion and integration activities. I am Adopt with the following Donors “BMZ, German Government, USAID, Czech Republic Government, General Electricity Foundation, DFID, ECHO, PRM, SVS, OCHA, GAC, HCR, UNFPA, Embassies funds, and MICAD” in Reporting and Designing proposals.
