Ahed M.AL-Fa’ouri

I hold a master's degree in Physics and was the 1st-placed student of the 2020-2021 MSc. Physics Programme with GPA 3.75 at Al-Balqa Applied University. I also received The Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award for the academic years 2020/2021, 2021/2022, 2022/2023. Moreover, I have previously worked as Head of Physics Department at Prince Faisal Technical College / Al-Balqa Applied University for 4 years as well as a Head of the Department of qualification and evaluation (Education Coordinator), Prince Faisal Technical College / Balqa Applied University for 2 years.

My professional background as an officer at Jordan Army includes several years of experience in developing and implementing policies aimed at mitigating many crises. My previous work experience has equipped me with the knowledge of the management of many crisis policies and the ability to analyze policy proposals and identify opportunities for improvement. Moreover, I have a good experience in project cycle management, incl. monitoring, and evaluation. 

I have a strong background in research, data analysis, and policy formulation, also I have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, Additionally, I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, positive contribution , and  excellent analytical, and writing skills, and I can communicate complex policy ideas and strategies to a range of stakeholders effectively.

I have held several administrative and leadership roles throughout my career, including Head of the Department of Physics at Prince Faisal Technical College/Al-Balqa Applied University where I have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively. Furthermore, as the Head of the Department of qualification and evaluation (Education Coordinator), I have gained experience in developing, modifying, and evaluating educational programs and curricula. In addition to my administrative experience, I have also worked as a Graduate Research Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student at Al-Balqa Applied University, teaching physics to college students, as well as teaching physics to Middle and High-School students for both national and international programs.

I have also published several papers in respected academic international journals and have presented at conferences on topics related to nanotechnology. I have also authored books on physics for aviation and technician students, and developed plans for bachelor's degrees in aviation sciences and aeronautics at Al al-Bayt University. I have also participated in modifying curriculums for engineering programs and physics for college programs at Al-Balqa Applied University.

As Head of the Science Faculty, I plan to bring my diverse experience and leadership skills to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. I am also committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of science education and using this knowledge to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
