Farah Saad

I would like to introduce myself. I am Farah Saad, a very passionate IB educator for the past 15 years working at one of the first IB school's in my country and the region, the  Amman Baccalaureate School. I am currently working as a Grade Level  Leader and an MYS Individuals and Societies teacher teaching History and Geography to MYS students from grade 8-10 and I am responsible for developing Curricula. I am also part of the Middle Year Program Team, taking charge of Service as Action, a core element in the IB program, responsible for providing opportunities for students to participate in service learning, where they build authentic connections between what they learn in the classroom and what they encounter in the community through Action and Service Activities and also ensuring that the implementation is within the MYP curricula of different subjects.  I am also serving the IB as a certified workshop leader, a role that I enjoy a lot as it’s a chance to learn and keep updated in the practices and yet sharing knowledge and expertise with others throughout delivering workshops around the world, United Kingdom, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. I was also a key contributor in getting our school ready for its evaluation for the past decade or so, as a teacher and as a leader.
