• Reviewing the Temporary and Permanent Accesses and Circulation Plan for all individual and development projects in Dubai as per the Access Management Manual and TIS Guide Line.

• Review Final designs of the proposed and existing elements within right of way such as service roads, pedestrian facilities, access design, and parking.

• Review the proposed circulation plan for all buildings projects in Dubai & review the final geometric design.

• Provide inputs for Major Road Diversions in view of Traffic Safety for several Road expansion projects and new developments.

• Review and auditing all traffic diversions on the road network within Dubai.

• Coordination with Developers (Nakheel, Dubai Properties, Trakhees) for providing safe access to existing and proposed developments

• Providing support and advisory to the manager and director in day to day activities.

• Took a lead role in providing the relevant documents, presentations to the internal auditing team with more satisfaction.

• He is an active participant in reviewing and preparing minor amendments in the manuals relevant to mostly Traffic Engineering namely; Dubai access management manual, Dubai trip generation manual, work zone management manual, traffic impact study manual, transport integration manual, Dubai municipality building code.

• Review legislation policies relevant to RTA & other stakeholders (Public & Private).

• Responsible in framing a new section as per the initiative of Dubai Supreme committee to issue the relevant permits for issuing of building permits in the Emirate of Dubai.

• Lead role in framing the Right of Way Permits Systems.

• Responsible to train the new engineers joining our section in all the aspects of diversions and RTA procedures. I also made the guidelines of the processes for reference of the section’s engineers.

• Review and implement the Traffic Management (Control) Plans for different ongoing projects all over Dubai on Major Roads and establishing safe access points with minimum disturbance to ongoing traffic without compromising traffic safety for the ongoing construction activities.

• Was part of the technical committee to review the up gradation of the Work Zone Traffic Management Manual of RTA, 2020.

• Conduct in detail Technical Transportation Analysis to form basis for future recommendations of road network and Transportation modes.

• Following Amman BRT project- Choosing routs –Evaluation of all aspects (Capacity, Reliability-….) - Traffic Impact Study of BRT – Provide Conceptual Design Proposals- provides recommended practices for the planning and development of bus rapid transit (BRT) stations and stops-Type, Location and spacing. In addition, all aspect related to the project.

• Develop scopes of work and contractual documents for severalprojects.

• Assessing infrastructure requirements (access for projects, car parkingrequirement, bus stop, etc.) for new developments to support planning applications and in coordination with local developers to be part of the Masterplan.

• Liaising and negotiating with different parties for city planning, e.g. planning and highways authorities, residents groups, councilors/politicians, developers, transport providers.

• Developing the concept design for new or improved transport infrastructure, such as junction improvements, pedestrian priority schemes, bus interchange or bus priority facilities, car parking area, etc.

• Acting as an expert witness at public inquiries and planning appeals,

• Participate in public consultation initiative, including designing leaflets

• Organize workshops for purpose of informing local agencies on transportation issues.

• Prepared reports for presentation to city council, cabinet, and parliament and public groups.

• Additional responsibilities include and not limited to as a Traffic Engineer is performing speed studies and traffic impact analyses, reviewing requests for driveway access and design plans prepared by other consultants/government authorities for compliance with permissible traffic engineering principles and standards, and providing highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Traffic Engineering and Street Lighting.

• Responsible for developing periodic, current and future year traffic forecasts by means of traffic surveys.

• Responsible for design, and installing all Traffic signs, Road Marking, Road Markers, Guardrail including manufacturing of road signs in Amman city for an area of 1600km2

• Prepared and evaluated several TIS reports.

• Provided a strategy to calculate LOS for all arterial streets in Ammancity including intersection redesign. Also provided new Traffic Management plans for Transportation and traffic flow.

• Sharing in evaluation/review of consultants and contractors

• Traffic safety auditing for all development projects.

• Traffic safety auditing for the existing Highways and intersections. In addition, redesign of the elements after that process.

• Responsible and set all documents and specification of all material oftraffic control devices (

• Geometric design for highway and signalized and unsignalized intersection.

• Audit Traffic Safety impact for the influence of advertising board, which were installed on highway between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.       

• Trading and Marketing activities including ITS equipment’s and traffic control devices material.  

• Review Geometric design and all traffic aspect (feasibility studies, traffic analysis, Safety auditing, detours, traffic control devices, construction supervisor) and work as a supervisor Engineer for construction of many main roads and interchange in Jordan:

- Amman Jerash Irbid Highway that project cost 40 million J.D include 5 main interchange

- Amman Madaba Road 14 km (15 million JD)

- Um-Al Basateen road 14 km (14 million JD)

- Um-Al Basateen Um-Al Ammad 8 km with two interchanges (10 million JD)

- Qutrana Kark road with 3-suburb interchange & one urban interchange (40m J.D)

- Interchange of university of since and technology (Irbid)

- Shoubak Petra road 53 KM two lane Highway (56 million J.D)

- Rass Al Naqab – Aqaba road 60 million J.D with 3 interchange

• Design more than 120 signalized intersection in many cities of Jordan    (include traffic analysis, L.O.S, safety auditing)

• Sharing in feasibility studies and conceptual design and detailed design of the following Highway and interchanges:

- Al - Ruman Mountain road (5 km mountain road)

- Amman Madaba east road (4-lane Highway 14km length, 14 million JD)

- Taiba Wadi Mosa Road (two 4 lanes Highway, 7 million JD)

• Responsible for design, and installing all Traffic Control Devices (Traffic Signals,Traffic signs, Road Marking, Road Markers, Guardrail including manufacturing of road signs) for The whole road network on Jordan (around 9000 KM length).

•   Participate with the Transportation Authority in preparing RFP for the Amman Zarqa rail   prepared the BOT contract and sharing during the evaluation of consultants and contractors and evaluate the bidders.

• Participate with Ministry of transportation in their studies and evaluation of plans and strategies in all projects related to Transportation on whole road network in Jordan.
