Leen abu Shaker

My name is leen abu obaid. I am 32 years old. During the past years I have completed my Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at University of Jordan. After that i  decided to pursue my studies in United Kingdom so i went to university of south wales and completed Master’s in business administration. After i came back from UK, i started to work at a global ngo in jordan as a human resources officer for 4 years. My goal was to gain more experience and knowledge, so i started to work at a very big family business owned company ‘statieh decoration’  as an hr specialist. However during my work I realized that i have a passion for teaching and  i will be an excellent teacher one day. I Love to deliver information and teach so my hope is to find a teaching apportunit. I am passionate and hard worker. 

• Prepare and review compensation and benefits packages
• Administer health and life insurance programs
• Implement training and development plans
• Plan quarterly and annual performance review sessions
• Inform employees about additional benefits they’re eligible for (e.g extra vacation days)
• Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
• Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
• Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly
• Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
• Monitor budgets by department
• Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation
