Muhannad Zamari

My educational background includes a master's degree in physical chemistry from Wayne State University.

Through my years at international schools, I held multiple positions: Chemistry/Physics teacher, head of the science department, and academic director/quality controller.  My experience includes monitoring the academic quality of the SABIS program, directing the American and British programs, coordinating the SABIS, SAT, AP, ACT, and IGCSE programs, teaching SABIS, SAT, and IGCSE Chemistry and Physics students, as well as participating in Cognia accreditation as a review team member.  Other areas of expertise include managing departmental activities for all subjects/ grades and providing individualized academic counseling, working with department members and other school leaders in standards alignment and improving "best practices" collectively, engaging in staff development work as an active and contributing member of the school leadership structure and analyzing student achievement data and helping departments set measurable and collective goals around this data to ensure improvement.

10+ years of experience in multiple international schools as a chemistry teacher, head of science department and academic director mainly for common core American program and British program including Cambridge, Edexcel and Oxford.

Bachelor degree honours chemistry from UWO in London, Ontario, Canada.

Masters in Science (Chemistry) from WSU in Michigan, USA.
