Architect - Researcher - LecturerSome of my interesting perspectives were formed after my first visit to Istanbul while I was at my undergraduate studies, where I’d unload the many questions inside my head, comparing them to Jordan (my country), from lack of well-planned cities to why we can’t find integration betweencity and nature, walking through Istanbul made me realize the importance of planning studies (In terms of transportation and environmental planning), especially when applied in an attractive way to create a livable and vibrant city that offers comfort and good experiences for its users.I graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology with a master of science degree in architectural engineering. I started my thesis research from the “Urban Farming” concept, but I thought to be fully understanding the concept, firstly I have to understand it as a building scale and then move forward to a larger scale. Myresearch work (simulation and experimental model) was about optimizing green wall performance in the ambient environment, and how it could be a unique architectural element with an important function. The importance of the Green walls has emerged in enhancing buildings’ thermal performance by constructingvertical greening systems in hot regions such as Jordan. In addition, I was one of the first certified-professional for Revit Architecture and the first lecturer who designed and taught a holistic BIM course for architecture students at Yarmouk University. I'm always looking forward to improving my skill (architectural skills and research), I'm interested in simulation software for building performances, I'm using Revit, DesignBuilder and Ansys Fluent, as an architect, I use 3D Max, SketchUp and Lumion for visualization.
