    • About the role: The MIS & IT Senior Officer is primarily responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of integrated information systems to enhance business operations and achieve strategic goals. This role entails a comprehensive approach to managing IT infrastructure, ensuring robust data analysis and business intelligence capabilities, and maintaining high standards in cybersecurity and data management. The officer will spearhead IT, MIS, and BI projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and efficient resource utilization. A key aspect of the role involves providing effective training and user support, managing relationships with vendors and stakeholders, and overseeing budgetary aspects to maximize technology investments. The position plays a critical role in strategic planning and policy development, ensuring that IT initiatives are well-aligned with the overall business strategy and contribute to the organization's long-term success. What you will work on:
    • System Development and Management: Design, implement, and manage integrated information systems in order to support efficient business operations and achieve strategic goals.
    • Data Analysis and Business Intelligence: Utilize BI tools to analyze data and generate reports in order to provide actionable insights for informed decision-making and improve business performance.
    • IT Infrastructure, Support, and Disaster Recovery: Oversee and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks, to ensure smooth and uninterrupted business operations and develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure that the organization can quickly recover from unforeseen events and maintain critical operations under all circumstances.
    • Cybersecurity and Data Management: Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Project Management: Lead and manage IT, MIS, and BI projects to ensure they are aligned with business objectives and delivered within scope, time, and budget constraints.
    • Training and User Support: Provide comprehensive support and training to users across MIS, BI, and IT domains to ensure effective system usage and maximize employee productivity.
    • Vendor, Stakeholder, and Budget Management: Liaise with vendors and negotiate contracts while carefully managing the technology budget, in order to ensure that the organization efficiently utilizes its resources and gains maximum value from its technology investments. This role also involves maintaining effective communication with stakeholders regarding technology needs and solutions, ensuring strategic optimization of IT expenditures to align with business objectives and cost efficiency.
    • Strategic Planning and Policy Development: Participate in strategic planning and develop IT policies to ensure that IT initiatives are aligned with the overall business strategy and contribute to the organization's long-term success.
    • Your Areas of Expertise:
    • Nice to have bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Must Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in IT, BI and systems management, with a proven track record in managing IT infrastructure, business intelligence, and system development projects.
    • Experience in project management, including successful oversight of large-scale IT projects from conception to implementation.
    • Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.
    • IT Infrastructure: Proficient understanding of various IT infrastructures, network systems, and software applications.
    • Management Information System: Proficient understanding of SAP B1 or other similar ERP.
    • Business Intelligence Tools: Knowledge of business intelligence tools and data analytics techniques for informed decision-making.
    • Cybersecurity and Data Protection: Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and understanding of data protection laws and regulations.
    • Project Management Methodologies: Awareness of project management principles, including agile and waterfall, and their application in IT projects.
    • Strategic IT and Business Alignment: Insight into aligning IT strategies with business goals and optimizing business processes through technology.
    • Emerging Technologies: Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and their potential impact on business operations and competitive advantage.
    • Any MIS, BI & IT Training and Certificate will be preferable.
