    Description

    SAIC is seeking a highly qualified Web Portal Developer to support the USSOCOM SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) contract. Your career at SAIC enables USSOCOM to fulfill its mission to "Provide fully capable Special Operations Forces (SOF) to defend the United States and its interests and synchronize planning for global operations against terrorist networks." As a member of our team, you will support the vice president of the Enterprise Operations Group (EOG) as we partner with SOF military and civilian members to provide world-class IT services and support that connects over 60,000 users around the world in the areas of software development/maintenance, network services, security, end-user computing, and test and evaluation.

    Roles and responsibilities:

  • Web Portal Developers will organize, operate, and maintain assigned SharePoint Site
  • Collections for the command.
  • This position will provide SharePoint Site Administration for all sites within assigned collections and manage general architecture, design, content, and permissions of sites.
  • Web Portal Developers will provide troubleshooting and assisting with any incidents effecting SharePoint performance.
  • This position will implement and maintain content management and train users on SharePoint capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work both individually and as part of a team is needed.

    • Qualifications

    Web Portal Developers must be knowledgeable in the following:

  • Plan, design and develop the SharePoint Site Collection hierarchy to improve collaboration and shared understanding.
  • Troubleshoot incidents effecting site collection and sites.
    Manage security within Enterprise solutions or approved SharePoint solutions.
  • Archiving sites and content.
  • Implement approved change requests and assist with custom development utilizing tools such as SharePoint Developer, Power BI, and MS Visual Studio.
  • Research and advise the command on emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Train and assist users in utilizing features of Microsoft SharePoint's platform.
  • Assist the managers, developers, and customers with implementation of custom SharePoint solutions.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience. 9+ years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Must meet DoD 8140/8570 certification requirements matching the level of access required, minimum Security Plus (SEC+). Additional desired (Not Required) certifications, skills, experience, and/or knowledge are MCSE SharePoint, MCSE Productivity, MCSA Office 365 Microsoft Certified Expert.
  • 5 years of recent SharePoint experience.
    • SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.

    Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
