Odai Tawalbeh

An expert EHS Engineer with nearly 11 yrs. experience providing comprehensive HSE support for a variety of infrastructure and international development projects. Currently I'm serving as the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Engineer on the Construction of Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) Center Project for Arab Potash Company. Prior to that, I served as a HSE Engineer with DAR Al Handasah Shair & Partners on the Supervision Services for Rehabilitation and Upgrading of the Desert Road from Naqab to Humaima (Section 1&2) for approximately 7 months. For the period from June 2019-July 2022, I've served as an EHS Engineer on Trigon's USAID-funded Construction Management for JSEP and SKEP, where we managed the construction of 25 new schools, 70 school expansion projects, and 50 sports activity facilities. My expertise extends to carrying-out HSE field trips and preparing related reports; developing HSE systems, plans, procedures, lessons learned, tips, alerts, workshops, quizzes, and success stories; and carrying-out periodic HSE exercises with Stakeholders. I've graduated from the University of Jordan in the field of Water and Environmental Engineering; and have earned numerous HSE, OSHA, and NEBOSH Certifications. I'm currently pursuing my PMP and ACP Certifications. Back in 2016, I joined the Consolidated Consultants Group team, and I was an active member of the Integrated Management System (IMS) Committee, where I followed the implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and OHSAS 18001. I've also been involved in some aspects of GIS and Remote Sensing work during my work as the Research Assistant for Dr. Jawad Al Bakri in the University of Jordan where we followed the implementation of on Badia Restoration Program (BRP) under Environmental Compensation Program for the period from June 2015-July 2015. Throughout my career, I've spoken in front of large groups and demonstrated strong leadership abilities. I also have a track record of success and a willingness to work hard to get the job done. With over 10 yrs. of EHS experience and superior knowledge of Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Monitoring, Training, GIS & Remote Sensing, I know that I can help the APC team meet its goals for the long-term future. Keeping in mind that I've developed an ARAMCO-approved Health and Safety system to be implemented on the jobsite and to qualify the former employer to operate on future ARAMCO projects. After all, when everyone performs, the APC does well too.
