    • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective procurement practices.
    • Manage the procurement process, including identifying and selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and purchasing goods and services.
    • Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring that spending is in line with organizational objectives.
    • Build and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
    • Ensure that procurement activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
    • Track procurement performance against established metrics and identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide guidance and support to procurement staff to ensure successful procurement outcomes.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends and best practices in procurement and implement them where appropriate.
    • Implement and manage procurement software and tools, ensuring that they are properly utilized and maintained.
    • Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
    • Collaborate with the R&D department to provide them with necessary equipment and materials while ensuring that all materials ordered are current and capable of producing optimal results.
    • Manage movement of excess stock between the operating companies.
    • Manage slow and dead stock by generating and analyzing stock reports.
    • Conduct and supervise material planning on a regular basis using an ERP (SAP)
    • Review, analyze and challenge forecasts and material consumption.
