- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and facilities to minimize downtime and ensure reliability and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, CGMP).
- Coordinate with production teams to support daily manufacturing activities, including equipment setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting of technical issues.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to optimize equipment performance, minimize breakdowns, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address equipment failures, deviations, and non-conformances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to support process improvements, technology transfers, and new product introductions.
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement activities to ensure availability of critical components and minimize production disruptions.
- Provide technical support and training to production operators and maintenance technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
- Participate in validation activities, including equipment qualification, process validation, and cleaning validation, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory updates related to maintenance and production engineering in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronics engineering or related field.
- 2 years of experience in maintenance and production roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing (JFDA, CGMP).
