    Position Overview

    Based in Jordan, we are currently seeking a:

    Line Operator

    (Amman - Salt)

    The Production Line Operator will be responsible for processing the raw materials into a finished product based on the prescribed recipes and according to the available production planning. He/she must follow the necessary parameters to obtain a high-quality product and to ensure production's quality and safety standard are complied with FSSC 22000 & HACCP standards.

    Key Tasks

    • Responsible of the confidentiality of the formula and other matters entrusted to his/her during or after his/her employment with the company.
    • Ensure correct dress code & PPE with proper sanitation of all operators in SAS before entering production area.
    • Ensure correct scaling of safe raw materials used in daily production in accordance with BOM/Recipes
    • Ensure correct selection of batch numbers for all raw materials in Odoo system for traceability purposes.
    • Ensure correct dumping of raw materials at dumping stations and paths as programmed in the batch control system.
    • Ensure correct scaling of finished goods and good sealing and labelling after packing.
    • Ensure all finished goods go through metal detector and keep the Production Manager informed with any discrepancies or issues.
    • Ensure an optimal progress of the production process within the department. Continuous process control: adjustment of the machines, monitoring of parameters (pressures, temperatures, control valves, flows,) and take actions and corrective measures in case of deviations.
    • Perform the required internal CIP and/or cleaning procedures for the production line/s.
    • Ensure all production tasks are of all adherences to Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Maintain good housekeeping, ensure adherence to HSE legal compliance and safety practices. Importantly to practice high level of hygiene & sanitation in the production.
    • Carry out maintenance of the production machinery /equipment as instructed by Production Manager and Maintenance Engineer.
    • Take good care of all machineries & equipment and asset management of the company.
    • Participate within direct reports and support groups especially from Quality department.
    • Fully support the implementation of GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, GU & Halal requirements of the company.

    Job Profile

    • Academic degree: Have a diploma or equivalent through experience (preferably with a technical background).
    • Experience in a nutrient environment and in working with production machines.
    • Average communication skills and an effective team player.
    • Be the role model for the factory helpers.

    Competencies

    • Team player with good communication and organizational skills, but also able to work autonomously. Functional & Technical Skills in the Process Lines
    • Action Oriented and Drive for Results / Target.
    • Adjust production lines, eager to learn and approaches situations fast.
    • Work accurate and tidy, according to the 5S-principle.
    • Have respect for quality and safety norms, with the necessary sense of responsibility.
    • GMP, HACCP
    • Willing to work in flexible hours.
